Preferences for storing plastic baits in scented bags (power bait, googans, kalins, etc)? Like to have all in one place in the boat that is more accessible for looking through other than a ziplock bag and having to dig through.

I keep mine in their original packaging and then sort them by style (stick bait, craws, lizards, worms, etc).

Just make sure that the zman are stored separately and out of the heat/direct sunlight otherwise they will turn into a big gooey mess and ruin other plastics.

I use this box and like it. Easy to look thru.

I have been removing my power bait from the bags and storing in a waterproof Plano 3700 for several years. As far as I know it has had no ill effect on the power bait.

Storing plastics in the package they come in is the best method of storing. Different companies use different plastisol for making their baits and they often will not mix well with other brands of baits. Plus, just about all plastic baits will “make” their own oil over time and that oil in tackle trays is a mess.

When you’re out in the boat, try to keep the plastics in an area out of direct sunlight unless its a cool day.

I use the same thing as Dennis. Have 4 of those totes in my boat all sorted by styles
