Storing Ice Castle on Red or Lake of the Woods

I just recently purchased an Ice Castle and was looking for a few tips on where to store it. I would like to leave it up by Red or Lake of the Woods for the majority of the season.. most likely near Red. Do resorts let you just store it up there near shore? I would assume they will if you pay a fee? Also, if there’s a lot of snow on the lake, how easy is it to get the resorts to plow you a spot on the ice? Thanks!

The old regime at Rogers on Red would store houses on shore for $1 per day in a lot. Usually you can flag down a plow who is willing to plow off a spot for some cash. More snow may require more cash.

I’ve been looking for a place too. I haven’t had much luck.

Cannot answer for LOW, but I believe most access points to Red will allow you to store your Castle for a fee and no responsibility agreement. I know Mort’s, Rogers, Greater Mn rentals and Hillman’s have storage area.

Contact wheelers on low, they do the same as red store on ice for pretty minimal cost.
