I’m needing to store my covered rig outdoors this summer, what can I do to protect it from getting to much sun? It’s a 2005 that has usually been garage stored up until now. I’m thinking covering with a plastic tarp give the actual boat cover some protection. I’ve also noticed the original cover is fading and not as waterproof?

If I recall you have a fiberglass boat? If so a good wax twice a year will help a bunch. Plan on having the finish buffed every 2 or 3 years also.

If possible park it on the north or east side of a building, that will lower the sun exposure dramatically.

The tarp covered carport structures are pretty cheaply priced. I’ve never had one but seems like it would be great for summer shade.

I used F-11 last year and trying this product this year. This technology provides great protection.

Make sure you cover any tires exposed to the sun.

Wait, your looking for a cover to cover the cover that’s already covering the boat???

I’d just buy a new cover if the one you currently have is bad. Like someone alluded too, you should let it breath in those warm summer months.

    Yes!
Can become a sauna with a little moisture and heat… Mold recipe.

I often ran a 20″ box fan in the boat when I stored outside.

I’ve had our boat under one of these for about 5 years. It works great but the top only lasted about 3 years
