I’ve been bowhunting for about 20 years. I can’t seem to find an unscented deodorant that works for more than 20 minutes. I’ve never been accused of bad body odor, but all of the name brand hunting deodorants don’t seem to get the job done. Looking for ideas for something new to try. And yes, I shower on a very regular basis. And always before I head out hunting.
Have you tried Nose Jammer?
When I bowhunted, I used Arm & Hammer incented deodorant and Arm & Hammer baking soda on my body and in my underwear. Don’t know how well it really worked, but it’s cheap and had deer pretty close. I also had a piece of unwaxed dental floss tied on my bow limb for a wind indicator.
Have you tried Dead Down Wind?
I have used all the brands. The arm n hammer idea is one I had not considered.
Nose jammer is a unique idea, but I prefer to be as scent free as possible.
