Stickers – Boat Registration Number

Does anyone have a suggestion for a place/site online where a guy can order custom boat registration numbers? A simple Google search brings up dozens of hits, but I wanted to check and see if there was a tried and true place to use.

I’d prefer them to be a one piece sticker that has a completely transparent background – rather than having to apply them one sticker at a time and deal with spacing (unless the one piece variety looks like crap!)

    Thanks

Not the cheapest by any means but I got mine here: https://www.boatus.com/boatgraphics/lettering.asp?t=RegNumbers

There are a lot of design options for colors, borders, and stuff. They come as a single piece but there is no background or material between letters. You position it on the boat, flatten it with a plastic putty knife they provide, and then peel off the backing leaving just the individual letters/numbers attached and perfectly spaced.

Edit: I don’t have a single good picture of my boat I guess. To give you a rough idea here is a zoomed in part of a picture: registration numbers With the double border option, color options, and tilt I was able to get it to match the Alumacraft lettering pretty well.

Found these on Amazon for the new boat last year. Chrome black outline under a 3d look clear top about 1/4″ thick. Pre spaced peel and stick

They are very sharp looking and reflect the water you are floating on
I think they were about $40.00 for the set but that probably what you will pay for custom cut flat vinyl single color set locally.

Get most of my boat decals, including numbers from http://www.decalzone.com

Tuffy, when you order your numbers, they come on one cut decal but are spaced individual letters and numbers. It isn’t a one by one install. You simply put the whole decal on the boat and peel the backing off.
