Anybody else having issues with their MX stereo? Sometimes mine won’t turn on, other times it will just shut off while playing. I plan on bringing my boat to SBC for a checkup soon, just curious how many others have/had stereo issues..

My MX 1825 is going in to the dealer later today to have the 3rd stereo installed. It has been most of the summer without a working stereo.

Yes we have seen this a couple times before. We have been removing the grey remote and the black box of that stereo and replacing with a self contained one. Takes a little doing but there is no extra holes and fits quite well. All covered under warranty.

Frustrated!!I would mention to your dealer that they should contact skeeter about that. Skeeter is advising all dealers replacing the old style radio to replace it with a different brand and different style.
We have had zero issues with the new one.August 27, 2014 at 8:55 am #1448923That’s good to hear, I’ll be dropping mine off in Ramsey next month for service. Loving that Ramsey location…

I guess I need to get an appointment made. I’ve had stereo issues for the last year and a half…I just haven’t made the time to get it corrected. Love to hear under warranty. Ramsey SBC will be getting a call
