Just got a new MX-1825. I’m not quite as agile as I once was and am looking for advice for after market steps that will work on the ez loader single axle trailer.

Call Skeeter Boat Center and they have them available. I have put them on my last 2 Skeeter trailers and they are priceless.

Do these bolt on (ie user installable)? I had emailed Skeeter and their response was that pieces had to be welded to the trailer. Does your trailer have a fold away hitch, and does this step interfere?

They bolt around the winch post. I would think they can easily put on anyone. There is no interference with the swing tonuge. I have them on my Skeeter and they work great.

Mine is bolted to the winch post just like kroger3’s (awesome color scheme on your boat btw). Priceless is the best word to use to describe these ladders.

Like others said it bolts to the winch post and no extra modification is necessary pending they have one for your trailer. Does not got in the way of the swing tongue. The first step on it becomes the furthest forward part of the boat/trailer setup by about 1.5″ when the trailer tongue is swung back(atleast on my MX2025). Your best bet is to contact one of the SBC dealers and they will get you squared away. I tried to do they same thing and track them down on my own on my first one and got no where but after 1 phone call to them I had one on that week.

Anyone have an estimate on price for one of these?

About 2 hours work and $27 later including the bed liner paint I had these made with my nephews help. May add a hand hold at some point.

Fyi, the steps in the first picture do NOT work on all MX1825 model years, the trailer bow roller bar mount is different on earlier MX1825 trailers.

The MX1825 specific model is just a few flat bars welded together, no diamond pattern steps…

Call Eric or Tony at the SBC locations, I think the price is around $350

I went with the trailer frame single step option for only $25, works great
