I’m not sure how well Stephen was known on ido. He was known by his signature cowboy hat along with donating his time teaching kids how to fish. I could go on and on about his work with the NationalProfessional Anglers Association and the DNR.

After 30+ days in the hospital, Covid took him away from his wife, and the angling community.

    Thank you Cowboy.

9:42am 11-20-21 the love of my life and our loving, caring Cowboy made the final ride to the kingdom in heaven. My heart is heavy but he truly was tougher than woodpecker lips and I saw a woodpecker outside the window this morning as I told this to the doctor. Please say a prayer for my family as we learn to ride without him and he gets to hunt and fish with family and friends who have gone before. I will keep everyone updated on what we will be doing as I know we have to celebrate his life cause he wouldn’t want it any other way. I love you all and the care and love you have shown through this journey this isn’t the one we wanted but it is the one God has chosen for us. 🙏❤️🙏💕🤠🤠🤠

Sad news for sure BK, he was certainly a great guy and a real ambassador for the fishing community
