Sylvan that Noco looks sweet, but a boat needs more than a jump with EFI, do you keep the unit on until you get back to the launch?

I have not used it to jump a battery yet. The instructions say to attach to battery to start it, then remove. It gets recharged by plugging into a wall outlet.

Good tech guys at Fishlectronics say I can jump it and take off, good idea for me to jet around to recharge the battery. Going to buy a Noco. Thanks again

Get a jump start and don’t ever worry about it again. I got a Goolo 2000 for $100. Weighs 2lbs and will jump dead diesels in the dead of winter. While I never have had to use it yet, I used it on a guides boat that we met at the launch. He had a 300 or 350 Verado, not sure which, and his battery was so dead it wouldn’t even try to turn the engine over. We hooked my goolo waited a few seconds and he hit the starter. Instantly fired up. I lent it to him for the rest of the evening, and he dropped it off to me later that night. Said he had to use it 3 more times. Also something to think about if you want all those locators is to turn your brightness down one number. It will reduce your power compsumption. On my helix 15 by turning the brightness down to 9 from 10, it reduces the power draw by over one amp.

I looked at the pics and if there was a jumper switch I have no idea what I was looking at.

(As someone that is older than dirt I humbly ask for your patience).
Tim can you direct me to something to help me?

Denny I am confused too (nothing new) I did not get the jumper switch that jumps the rear automatically from the front batteries, I bought the super small, slick and highly rated NOCO jumper box, it was cheaper and also can jump vehicles. A good thing to have in your boat with all the gizmos that draw down batteries, I hope that helps. Oh and and the thing is safe and will not spark.
