I suppose with the Boat Center now selling StarCraft we should have a StarCraft section? I’ll admit I did give it the once over when I stopped in a few weeks back. I didn’t linger long as I didn’t want Charlie selling me one. grin They do look like a nice affordable option for a aluminum hull. I think a 18′ or 19′ with a 90 SHO can be had for under $30,000 not bad in todays world. waytogo

Hadn’t planned on it, but maybe. It’s a last minute type of event for me. I’ve skipped the last couple of years but won’t rule out going at this point.

Maybe. Based on the distance and time of year, it’s always dependent on the weather.

What do you know or have you heard about StarCraft? I haven’t heard anything bad but have never been in one on the water either.

I have an older Starcraft 170 with a full windshield and its built like a tank.
rides dry,it handled very well in three footers this year,I wouldnt be afraid to take it on bigger waters at all.
the 75 Merc on the back is plenty for what I do and will push it 34-38 MPH depending on how much weight I have in it.
if the new ones are built like mine I wouldnt hesitate to buy another one.

If I had any complaints it would be having two live wells in the front split by a battery compartment in a vee shape, works better than I thought it would but I still dont care for that layout.
the other issue is storage but thats about true with any of them of that era.
