Anyone know of a star gazing app that works well for and Android phone? There seems to be quite a few out there and it looks like the more you pay, the better it is supposed to work. Im looking for something that works OK for free, lol

I use Sky View and have had no issues with it. It’s free:

Ive used Skyview in the past and it was fine for me. The Perseid meteor showers are supposed to happen tonight BTW.

Google Sky. Used it all the time when my daughter was younger.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will give them a shot this weekend when camping. I did see that the peak of the meteor shower is Saturday and Sunday too

Star Tracker is awesome, super intuitive and easy to use. I highly recommend it. It overlays constellations too waytogo

Me and the boys all fight over who gets the hold the phone on a clear night while camping or in the backyard around the fire.
