Stacking wires on your battery – better option?

Think I counted eight wires stacked on top of my starter battery. Is there a easier way?

I envision a brass block that bolts right on top of the battery, one on each terminal with two or three other studs built in. With a nice terminal cover to make it safe and legal, problem is I can’t find anything like this. Any suggestions?

I really don’t want to screw two blocks into the side of the aluminum by the battery… my live well is on the other side for one reason, and the area is really tight. There has to be a clean block that mounts on the battery somewhere.

Seven wires:
Three sonars
Main motor
Kicker Motor
Electric anchor
On-board charger
Fuse box line

I was having the same thoughts, thanks for the post and replies. Those look perfect for the job.

My son and I were just discussing this the mercury one looks the best ,I espesilly like the cover for the connector.

I like the Mercury one as well… expensive, but the covers, and I like the couple large terminals. Now to see if I can fit the added height in my enclosure.

Is there any concern about pulling threads out of brass? I assume not, but.

I would make the Johnny Ray style work, but then you still have to screw around with a cover for the main terminal, that covers that connection piece to the other box. Plus I think the four main, large connections would have to go on the main post yet. It helps though.

2 of these may fit the bill. What I like is they can be mounted away from the battery keeping battery area clean and organized. Also having the ability to have a battery disconnct/ switch between the battery and the power distribution block. Look throught the website you may find other alternatives. Pretty neat collection

except for starter wires all my wires go here. just one pair of power feed wires to this, plus everything is fused!

I run a blue sea covered bus bar. One set of wires to the battery, all my electronics and downrigger wires connect to the bus bar.
