I really like stackable portable fish houses. I have a pair of cottages, one without the aluminum cross-member with a tow hitch on the back. I find two shantys is easier to handle and pack, pretty much always allows for more setup options while fishing.

I wanted to try a lighter 1-man strictly for hand pulling and really liked the clam blazer stealth. I found a Kenai stealth for a steal about a month ago, so got that instead and have generally liked it. I just wound up with a blazer for 50% off, figured I’d sell the Kenai. They nest together very well. WTF.

I wish my resort would stack with another resort. Makes it tough transporting 2 in the truck. We’ve done it but it sucks

Like 2 peas in a pod.

Out talk the other day really has me thinking about dumping the Cabin for an easier to pull 1 man.

That’s two stacked in the open bed? I’m guessing without a topper? Shoot, one in a truck is a two man job if it even fits.

I always wanted a resort, but it would have to go on an open trailer and if I ever upgraded to an enclosed setup, a resort and sled needs a pretty big trailer. My dad and I almost got one for fishing together, but we went with the pair of cottages instead. I really don’t enjoy fishing adjacent to others unless they are learning, or it’s a primarily social deal.

I’m going out snowshoeing on BMarine with the blazer and my bucket setup in a bit. I figure a pair of panfish rods in the bucket, some tackle in my pocket, a simple drill setup and two extensions and i might be able to make it a couple hundred feet. tongue

That’s awesome. Your a brave man. But I suppose that shack isnt to bad to pull. If I had that set up I’d be doing the same thing.

Good luck, bud! Hope the fishing is worth the effort. wave

Definitely something to be said for the super light setups like those.
