Got a wedding coming up this fall around the St.Paul area, below smith ave but above 494. Couple venues all within walking of river. How would people feel about leaving a boat ashore for short times? Thing would be cleared out of tackle etc. And can a guy just leave it out legally on public land unattended? Kill some time before after ceremony with few friends.

Would come up with some simple lock system to chain in to shore. Cant reach plug, besides have auto bilge. And feelings towards said boat arent all that high right now either.

    Yea? Neh?

Part of me thinks you’re crazy, the other part thinks people see something like that and think somebody somehwhere must be watching?

I doubt anyone would steal it but some kids might cut it loose? I once swam out into the middle of the croix downtown Hudson to save a canoe that some idiots pushed out. Mostly did it to impress my girl. mrgreen

It wouldnt be possible to push er off with locked chain from bow eye to tree, pole, tree, idk whatever I find around. Maybe if given people time but doubt even troubled teens walking around won’t have a cordless angle grinder with a metal cutoff wheel.

Would be kinda fun way to spend an hour or so.

You would be by far the coolest guy at the wedding. . .

Not any different than stopping at the island to pee and tying the boat up…..

We tie up and explore in a handful of areas without issue. You should be fine.
