St Louis This Weekend

    Hi All,

    I’ll be in the area camping for the weekend and was hoping to get out on the St. Louis for some walleyes and Superior for Lake Trout and Coho. After looking at the wind the next few days I may have more time on the river than the lake.

    I was planning on checking out the flats in/around Spirit Lake. If anyone has any reports for a first timer it would be much appreciated! Has the crawler harness bite started or is it primarily cranks?

    Wish I would’ve seen your post earlier. I have a bad habit of only checking today’s topics and the St. Louis forum has been dead for quite some time so I don’t check it often. I’ve spent about 7 days out there so far this season and fished the local tourney back in May. I’m heading up later this week and fishing another local tourney on Saturday so I’d be interested to hear your results.
