Hey guys, just wondering if any of you know of any good spots that a guy could have good walleye or northern action on the Sippi or St. Croix. Limited to fishing from shore due to being at school. I am located in River Falls so anything within 20-30 minutes would be reasonable. Thanks for the help!

Right now Red Wing will offer some shore fishing. There is a public dock on the point of Baypoint par but the rip rap from the dock up to the inlet for the harbor has some fishing opportunities. Another location in Red Wing is along and in front of the train station up to the grain terminal just upstream. Both areas can eat some jigs but both are productive areas right now.

Once we get into the end of April Lake City will offer some decent casting from either the government pier [the long concrete structure] or the breakwater that creates the sailboat harbor.

there’s some good shore fishing opportunities right in Prescott just up from the boat launch, boundary waters open year round
