St. Croix shore spots

Hey guys i was supposed to go out fishing for the first time this year with a buddy but he had to cancel. Im itching to catch some bass. Any ideas of any shore spots i might try in the Stillwater area? I’ve never fished from shore on the river and with the water being high not sure where to go try. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated

From shore you will be casting to 10′ of flooded river and it may be a big challenge to connect with fish?

If you wanted to you could fish the Stillwater downtown area.

I ended up fishing the dike for a few hours. I caught 2 smallies before i lost 2 jigs on rocks. I decided to go home after that but im planning on trying the Stillwater side next time
