I’d like to launch my Glastron 20′ IO at Lion’s Park in St. Croix Falls, WI and fish North. Does anyone have experience on this portion of th St. Croix? How far north can I safely travel? Nevers Dam, Sunrise landing? Rocks, wing dams, dead heads?
    Thanks!

Been awhile but i think you should make it Wild Mountain easy enough. Depending on water level beyond that.

You can probably make it to Nevers Dam. Will you be fly fishing?

I did some mapping for Navionics last fall, this is far as I got before it got to late in the day. If you go to the web app you can look at, I have more data to upload this spring. Its also available on the Mobile App

Nevers is doable, beyond that better take it slow and cautious.every year theres a couple boats that run from the sand into the shallow rocks!

Was up last night, with the way the water has been up there the past few months I would be cautious of deadheads and lots of crap in the water. Your boat should launch fine, lots of questions about how the fishing is going to be this year. Enjoy your trip and once you get up around Nevers be careful of the rocks, the river really changes at that point!
