Wow – It seems strange to see a Musky Rod with a Medium power Rating and even more so in Fast action. I tend to think of Musky rods as normally being rated as Heavy or Extra Heavy. If you lived closer I may have been interested in taking a look. Good luck on the sale.

Rod builders don’t rate all rods on the same scale. Medium spin jigging rod is the same as a medium muskie rod. Being a rod builder, rating from the blank manufacturers can be screwy.

Timing is funny. I bought this exact rod last September, oh well.

If anyone is upsizing their pike baits this works well for that too. Been testing how large I can go. I was finding that my regular premier 6’6″ mh was getting overloaded. The “musky” also in mh is a much heavier duty blank and works better.
