St. Croix Opener GTG

You’re all invited to the annual St. Croix walleye opener GTG! We have been doing this for many years and the tradition continues in 2017.

Date: Thursday, April 27th (opener on the croix is the 29th)
Location: Shiners Bar and Grill, 157 St Croix Trail, Lakeland, MN 55043
Take the last exit in MN off I-94 heading east towards WI, go south about 1 mile
Time: 5:00 – ??

Please join all the St. Croix River Rats as we kick-off another year of fishing on the St. Croix. Shiners has good food, burgers and pizzas, and a big space for us to gather.

Hope to see you there! Please post below if you plan to attend but if you need to make a last minute decision that is just fine too.

can’t make it this year. going up to fishcamp on Thursday night.

Should be able to make it, always good to see some of the old faces even if they aren’t that good to look at.

I hope to get there right at 5 but will need to leave shortly after 6 for a 5th grade music concert.

Over the years we’ve had as many as 25 people and as few as 4. So it ebs and flows, like the river.
