I have an opportunity to buy 2 new St Croix Eyecon spinning rods 7’6 ML XF for $175 total. Seems like a good price as they are $120-150 everywhere. I don’t really “need” them but not adverse to having extras at a good price. They are the “old” version with SCII not SCIII. Would be used as extra boat rods for
    Jigging, bobbers, pulling lindy’s.

    Thoughts?

I’d get em for that price. Like you said, having extras is not a bad thing. A 7’6 would be perfect for bobbers/lindys.

If you don’t want them I would certainly take them at that price.

Those are, IMO, the best budget river pitching and dragging rods that money can buy. I use them for slip bobbers too. I wouldn’t say that’s a screaming deal, but it isn’t bad.
