I would think that would be a great rod for pitching blades. For me it would be a little too fast for pitching jigs.

I recieved an ES76MLXF in exchange for a broken ES76MLF last spring. I use mine for live bait rigging. It’s a sweet rod.

I’ve read that length and power is popular for live bait rigging. Good length to get away from boat on bigger tillers or big v’s. XF doesn’t allow the rod to load so much with the weight. 2 cents.

I was pitching jigs with a friend’s xtreme 7’6″ MLXF and I’m sold on it. The feel was great and the length was perfect. I’d only imagine the elite would be even better.

Awesome rod for live bait rigging, lighter lindys and also could be used as slip bobber rod. But I use it as my dedicated Lindy rod. But if it get windy, I like to step it down for something shorter. It catches alot of wind being that long.
Is great on clear lakes like Mille Lacs for running long leaders.

I have both the LTB and LEX…they are extremely versatile rods for just about everything mentioned…can cast a light (3/32, 1/16) jig a mile…Long length is great for hooksets and keeping line off the water.
Its my go to rod for big Great lakes Smallies on finesse Tubes and 4″ unweighted Senkos…I LOVE these rods )

Caught the Big Walleye dragging jigs on P-4 with the LEX76MLXF
Caught the Smallie on a 4″ Senko wacky rigged with the LTB76MLXF

They are similar…Mine are custom builds with Titanium Macro guides up top
to unweight the tip section for a tad more sensitivity… The Legend TB is a bit slower with a softer action… The L Extreme is faster and has a bit more backbone )

Thanks guys i got the elite and paired it with a Stradic 4000 ci4+ 10lb 832 and a flouo leader ,getting between 22 and 26 yards on a cast with a 1/4oz salmo hornet ,slight breez.Im going to do a little more tuning to see what i can expect. These are awsome rods.

I got 29 yards on a cast with 1/4 oz salmo, not bad!
