St. Croix Custom Rod

    This rod is yet to be built. Waiting on blank from St. Croix.
    The blank is a 5S76MLXF-G.
    The comparable finished rod is the ES76MLXF, $450.00.
    The blank is a replacement for warranty blank.
    I have two of these already, so I will build it to your specs.
    I will be starting on it as soon as I get it.
    I specialize in carbon fiber handles. Carbon fiber is the lightest most sensitive handle material available.
    Only a few builders work with it because it is labor intensive.
    I call it the Gen 3 handle. The reel hood is incorporated into the grip. It is the lightest most sensitive handle, period.
    Pictures are of ice fishing rods with the Gen 3 handle.

    I have seen Captainpaddlefoot’s work and as a rod builder myself I can say he does a good job.
