    St. Croix Boomsite Meetings

I hope someone from the area can make these meetings and report back if the four letter word “GATE” is mentioned.

I caught this info on the St Croix River Fishing Facebook page.

How does one become a “friend”.
After reading that chills went up my spine.
The suspicion of how the DNR can not run its own house is coming more and more clearer.

This is just freaky. Those meetings intrigue me but honestly they scare me also. Hate to go to one and 3 months later see my self in a tent in Arizona doing some sort of a clenz thing and not knowing how I got there.

Isn’t this the wayside rest about a 1/2 mile up river from the Boomsite access?

As long as this doesnt affect the landing or waters edge why should we care?

Same reason you should go to the walleye searchers meeting and watch the Pool 4 presentation. hah

Seriously…They’re not considering putting a 10pm sign up at boomsite are they?

Granted, i almost entirely park the trailer there friday-sunday during sturgeon season(Sleep in boat or on shore), but it is the only stinking public access on the lower st croix without a 10pm sign. It’d cost me (and i’ve paid it) $45+ per weekend to fish otherwise.

I figure i can run a lot of gas through my boat for the $45 a private access costs me.

Great; not i’m all riled up!

I plan to go. It is on my calendar.

If Stillwater City counsel has anything to do with it we will be screwed. I have been through a lot of community meetings over the past few years with the bridge and such. I will try to report back what this is about. I am not really sure what they can do with the park.

Fishblood this has nothing to do with the launch. It is the parking area with the stairs down to the river.

Your talking about the DNR sight this wont be affected at least it shouldn’t be. Just north of there used to be a rest area their talking about.

Oops I missed that last part in outdoors post.
