    Is the launch at St Croix Bluffs open? Thinking of going there next week if the river level drops a couple feet.

    Just called there today. They are open. I wouldn’t wait for the water to drop. The Croix has been on fire the last few weeks. It is a PITA with no wake but there are some great spots close to the bluffs.

    I was out last Sunday. They pulled the smaller dock up on the East side so you don’t have to walk in water. The larger dock ramp on the West was under water.

    The slow ride to the “spot” was worth it. Walleye are biting. The 13-14 inch class is really nuts. Caught 20+ shorties between 2 of us.

    Plenty of people motoring with the no wake on.
