    Hi everyone

If anyone has used the st croix avid air 30″ medium light and 30″ medium I would appreciate any feedback on the rods. I am ideally looking for a crappie/perch rod for 1/16 oz spoons and then a walleye rod for 1/8-1/4 oz spoons and smaller rippin/jigging raps. Reason I am looking at these two is I can use cabelas points to get them.

saw these at the show and the blanks felt a little stiff but with the carbon blank and handle thought the sensitivity would be pretty good though. I have the 30″ avid glass light and that is great for tungsten and small panfish jigs.

Like I said before, I would appreciate any feedback anyone is willing to share.

    Thank you.

I have a St. Croix Avid ML that I initially bought for jigging spoons. I personally feel it is too stiff for the size tackle I normally use for walleye. After my last trip, I will be changing it over to a set-line. Just my experience.

St. Croix M power rods are in general more stiff than most other manufacture rods.
