Im sure this will open a can of worms no pun intended but listening to Dan Barreio on KFAN with the St. Cloud Police Chief and this guy should run for office. Very well spoken and if I lived in St. Cloud I’d be very happy to have him as my Police Chief.

He has been on with Barreiro a fair number of times. Must have some relationship together. It also makes sense to get the voice of someone outside the TC since Police Chiefs there may be less apt to comment on events that transpire near them.

I didn’t hear him this time but heard him after the Floyd incident. Very well spoken. He has his hands full in St. Cloud.

He is still on right now. He’s a wonderful listen.

I appreciate Barreiro. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t align with him 100% on a lot political topics, but he has a great way of stating his case. Sometimes he flies off the handle but we all do from time to time. Most of the time he goes to GREAT lengths to ensure all points of view are considered in his arguments.

I dont agree with him on a lot of his politics but I still enjoy listening to the guy. I swear he sometimes can have an argument with himself when he goes off on something.

I’ve heard the Chief on the air before with him as well and wish the guy could go on a major news station.

Listening on-demand now and am just thankful for TRUE leaders like this that dedicate their lives to public service.

Is there any place a person can listen or watch this interview or show? I’d like to listen to it.

KFAN showpage should have it, or possibly in a podcast?
