I have a couple of air adjustable springfield pedestals that are “flat”. Their site says they have a 5 year warranty. Has anyone worked with them to get them fixed or replaced? or should I save the frustration and get some new ones. Thanks for your help.

I just replaced the helm air ride base on my Swivl Eze pedestal. I looked up the part number and ordered it from http://www.backtoboating.com It was only $104.50 with no sales tax and free shipping. Saved me $175.00 for the whole pedestal.

Update,…Springfield requires that you send them measurements and a picture to ensure they have the right model. They email you a return authorization code and address. You send the broken part to them at your costs. They will repair or replace. They charge you return delivery. The parts are on the heavy side so it’ll be @$40 in shipping costs. They promise to ship back in 5 working days. So about two weeks all together by the time its back. I guess that beats buying a new one at $120 +.

I sent one in to Springfield a number of years ago and it was fixed quickly and returned just in time for a big trip I had planned. Zero complaints. No questions asked by them either.
