Spring Pike Fishing

    Does anyone have an idea of current conditions in that area near Pierre? I’d love to get after some big pike but trying to time it up so my drive up there is worth it. I’m assuming there’s still a bunch of ice but I really have no idea.

    Ice covered. The shorelines are opening up. I have heard of guys fishing but they haven’t had luck as of last weekend. The last weekend in April should be good with our temps it should really get the ice disappearing the next 8 days.
