Decided to do a spring bow tune up and avoid being the guy trying to do everything last minute in September. Unfortunately while taking off some old camo tape a pulled off some of the paint on my Diamond. Anyway a new bow wasn’t really in the budget and I shoot this bow well so a new string and cleanup turned into a complete repaint and rebuild. I stripped off all of the paint on the riser and used Duracoat to repaint. I’m pleased with how it turned out. The duracoat seems to be a good option to spruce up an old bow. Got it back together and tuned up. Ready to shoot some 3D next weekend.

Duracoat is a really good alternative to Cerakote. Much easier to apply with no fancy tools to apply. Looks like you did a really good job. I built up a bow to shot 3-D competitions but have never gotten around to actually doing it…
