Its that time of year to start getting the boat ready. What does everyone use for cleaning the inside of their boat carpet, vinyl, etc. How about the outside of the boat (aluminum)?

I take off the cover and let it wash itself in the rain. Jon boat you know. lol
I pull mine out and remove everything that is not tied or bolted down. Then the neighbor comes over and spends a hour or more vacuuming everything out because he doesnt like to fish in a dirty boat. Seems to be a pretty good system to me.
Take everything out of the boat, then to car wash for wash and wax. Vacuum carpet and remove any stains with carpet cleaner. Clean all vinyl and plastic with armor all. Re organize tackle and return to boat in a neat and convenient manner. This will last one trip. The rest of the year the boat is a disorganized dirty mess.
I have a 1998 and have kept the carpet nice by scrubbing it once per year.
Hot water in a bucket with Dawn dish soap. Hose the floor good first then use that with a scrub brush. Then hose rinse. Super nice. Periodic vacuuming throughout the season.
second the dawn detergent. only thing i’ve found. amazing stuff.
Anyone figure out a really good way to clean up splashguards yet?? Open to all suggestions!
I put it away clean. It’s ready. Pull it out, do a check and go.
My boat looks the same for every single fishing trip. Shiny and organized. That’s my OCD taking over. The boat is always prepped every time it comes home from a trip. That way I can leave any given day at a moments notice and know the boat is ready. Plus if I knew it was dirty or disorganized it would probably eat me alive from the inside out.
I use a pressure washer on my carpet just stay back about a foot or you can rip it. then vacuum dry with a shop vac, mothers back to black on trim, magic eraser on vinyl, plastic polish on the windscreens, vinegar and water to remove spots from electronics.
Simply green for everything. Stronger dilution for seats, less for carpets. Works wonderful.
I personally don’t care for much outside the boat. Don’t get me wrong mechanically its taken care of, but the crappier my trailer and boat looks to others the less they’ll pay attention to and the easier it’ll be to sneak to all my hotspots without undue attention.

I haven’t tried this yet but this looks great for splashguards and everything else! I am going to purchase some from my local boat dealer who carries it as I just purchased a new to me black Lund pro guide and want it to look nice! It’s called JJV’s Best boat wash

I put over 500# of sturgeon on the floor on my boat floor one day last year. No cleaning that up.
Did vacuum a ton of shad scales up though.
I have a White and Red fiberglass Tahoe Fish n Ski. I have used JJV’S Best and I thought it worked great. Considering that I leave my boat in the marina in Lake City all summer. It seams to take everything off. some areas I needed to do a couple of times and used a brush but I was happy with the results
you guys put your boats in the water and use them?
that’s nuts. dirty and nuts.
i wash/wax mine at the start of the year, then wipe with bass boat saver after every use. keeps it clean and looking good. every month or so i wash it again including spraying out the carpet reel good.
I take off the cover and let it wash itself in the rain. Jon boat you know. lol
Oh how times have changed JD! Or maybe this is how you will clean the skeeter too?
