Where did this photo come from? Says “CenTREville”…are we sure it’s local?
A buddy sent it to me. I have been looking further in to it and it’s from Michigan. So now my chubby is gone but it’s still awesome. I bet this is the same family of deer in Michigan that I read about 20 years ago.
My mom sent me that picture this morning also and had me thinking Wyatt and I need to be doing evening drives looking for deer over that way (live in Galesville). Did some bookface research and apparently this deer has at least 5 identical twins that all just happen to be near Centerville in Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Maryland and Georgia.

There is a family of protected deer in michigan from when I was younger that were all albinos. So I’m not sure, rare but not to far off. I was sure hoping my area
Growing up my grandma and grandpa would drive us by the waterworks plant in fridley, they had an albino family back then, late eighties early 90s. Very cool to see. Lots of wildlife in that area back then.
I saw that, what a beauty! There’s a bunch of albino and piebald deer around Kathio State Park and Hillman area in MN, if you ever want to go try and see one in real life.

I grew up in Michigan. There was a contained herd of white deer a few blocks from our cabin most of my childhood. Walked and played around there all the time. Another about a mile away. We used to beg for bread scraps to feed them through the fences. They were in a high acreage natural setting. I remember the bucks fighting in the fall.
