Going with my sons on saturday

Bride and I are planning on Friday. Need to make the deposit for Opener and drink some overpriced beers.

I stopped going a few years ago after getting tired of the same booths in the same place manned by the same people. But I think I’m ready to check it out again to see what’s new. The only thing holding me back is this will be the first time going without my dad, who we lost last year. Just one of those many times that it will hit you. But we’ll see.

Good one. That’s the running joke at our house. Tell my boys we could just walk through show with video camera and record and just play it back year after year. Nothing ever really new. Would save a lot of fuel, time, wear on vehicles etc. However, with that being said, we still always end up going to the closest 3 shows every year just to get out of the house.

I’ll be there, think were going Saturday. It would be nice to go during the week as it gets to crowded on the weekend. I’m trying to tell myself already I don’t need anymore fishing rods, but I’m sure I will walk out with a couple.

They will, I will be working Saturday. HAHA.

I’ll be dusting off some real cobwebs, last event I worked was the Bassmasters Classic in 2019.
