Personally I like it in the General Forum.

If I’m in the mood (which seldom happens) it’s right there. Otherwise I just skip around them.

techiquely its a grandfathering in thing. so iffin ya had an agreement when it went into effect the right to work for less doesn’t apply till a new agreement is negotiated and ratified.

They shouldn’t discourage political topics and instead add politics as a section. Florida sportsman is the most popular site down here and you guessed it, politics is the most active forum. Lol

As long as it doesn’t show up in the Today’s Topics list. They have those on other sites and after awhile it just becomes pissing matches and places to massage their own political egos.

In my opinion and I’m not speaking for Ido…

The political threads in the past have driven members (friends) further apart then any other type of post.

IDo is about bringing people together in the fishing, hunting world.

Although I personally want to let those types of threads go, they always end the same way. Someone attacks another and the post is deleted and the thread locked.
When I see a current political thread I ask myself “should I lock it now or wait?” Most often I should have locked it right off the bat. I feel they are important current events… but again, they most always end up the same way. Locked.
