Ice on at Anglers Bay.Dec 11,2003

We have had fishable ice on the Anglers Bay area of Spirit for about a week now.I’ll be fishing it this week-end,hope to have a good report!

Ryan, thanks for the ice report. I’m going to try and get down there the middle of the week. How about the north end by the park?

Fished the South end of Anglers Bay today for 4 hours.Only caught 2 perch and did not mark alot of fish.Went to the North end of Anglers but most people where catching gills and crappie-not much for perch yet.There where 3 shacks out from the North park Randy.Good luck.

Use caution on the West side of Spirit Lake from the Marble Beach area to the Buffalo Run area.There is always some bad spots about 5-10′ out from shore.Try to get out on the ice where it looks safe.I seen a guy take a dip last year trying to cross a seam.Only thigh deep but he was cold.Safety first ice guys!!!
