    Hi
I am looking for the best spinning reels recommendation for the beginners.
    I have a budget between $100 to $150.
Please don’t recommend any reel if you haven’t used it.
    Thanks in advance

Shimano Sahara, best reel you’ll find for $80 IMO.

I would have to lean toward the Pfluegers also. I have a couple of the Supreme XT and Patriarch. These are the smoothest and lightest reels I have used

I won’t spend that kind of money on a open face reel even if I had it. I’ve been using the Shimano Sienna for 10-15 years and they are a great reel. Heck for $100- $150 you can get 3 of them and have some bait money left.

I am a Shimano Stradic guy, but for the price you mentioned you’re trying to stay in, I would say the Pflueger President line is perfect.

I have been buying my 5 year old the President LE models and I have been impressed with them. They should last her years. Smooth drags, light and overall just a solid reel. And I don’t mind using them either.

I have a couple of Daiwa Revros reels now. They are $50 or $60 and I see no need to spend any more than that, I really like them. If you have extra money put it towards a better rod.

I would pick up a Pflueger and put the extra money to a better rod.

Look at Lews reels, switched over to using all Lews and never looked back. They’re in my opinion the best reel for the money spent and to $100-150 you can pick up 2-3 of them.

I would get Pflueger Supremes. I have quite a few Pfluegers and this is my favorite because of how light it is. The drag is great and they stand up to lots of use.

Presidents are nice, mine are still functioning. The purists I thought I upgraded to crapped out both last year after about a year and two years of use. I’m tough on gear so I still think I got my use out of em. But wouldn’t necessarily say they were great

Switched to Sedonas, Sahara’s and siennas now, so good so far!

My first thought would be a shimano sahara. Very nice reel well within your price range. Sedonas are a touch cheaper and nice as well.

The only check mark against them is they aren’t extra light if that’s something you want.

I did buy a Pflueger Supreme last year to try a lighter reel. I haven’t used it a lot but so far it has worked well.
