Spinning gear for bottom bouncers

    Does anyone use spinning rods/reels pulling bottom bouncers?

    If so, what type of rod are you using?

    I use 7’Med and 7’2″ML and use 1/2 or 3/4oz weights spinning rod and reel. I guess for the guys that use 1-3oz weights they would use MH/H gear.

    I have gone to baitcasters with a flippin switch but used to run them all the time on spinning reels. Bigcrappie has it right – I prefer a longer M weight for lighter weights and then an MH as I go over an ounce.
