Thought this was a cool picture. The sun lit it up Saturday morning. Hopefully you can zoom in and see how busy that thing was.

Golden Garden Spider. Interesting creatures when they are on the hunt. I used to catch flies and pull their wings off and drop them on the web to watch the spider come out and nail his treat. These things are fun to watch but personally I can do without spiders and snakes.

Bzzsaw, I see the web is in a pine tree. I know that type of spider. As kids my friend and I collected a bunch off pine trees. We kept him in his parents porch off the garage. One day they escaped and were all all over the porch. Cool spiders. I am no fan of spiders, but those kind didn’t wig me out for some reason.

Took this one Friday night. It has been on our garage all summer kind of fun to watch. Yard light just above so it turns into a bug buffet for the spider.

Neat. That’s one I’ve never found! We were camping this weekend, and the park had a snake program that I took our kids to. They got to meet all kinds of snakes from MN and around the world. My 6 and 4 year old had no problems holding milk snakes, fox snakes, bull snakes, various pythons, and even an 8′ boa constrictor.

Wow , and I thought I was the only one that enjoyed that.

So you guys/gals are telling me one of these spiders made this web? I just thought the web looked cool. My daughters/wife freak on spiders… not me. doah

How does one get them to move on to your neighbors? Asking for a friend.
