Species Identification

    I’m beginning to list my species and, although I lack photos of dorsal fin rays on one fish, I believe I know what they are but don’t want to misidentify them. Both of these fish were caught in a creek in eastern north carolina. I believe one is a bluehead chub, and the other is a hornyhead chub. Please correct me if I’m wrong, thank you.

    I think so. Horny top pic, blue bottom.
