New Toys!

    Well, I went to the sports show over the weekend and just couldn’t pass up the deals. I wound up buying a St. Croix Legend Tournament drop shot spinning rod, a St. Croix premier crank bait rod, and Curado E50 baitcaster, all from the Thorne Brothers booth. I thought my wife was going to have a hemorrage when we went to pay, but I told her its for my happiness and the greater good of the fishing hobby . She rolled here eyes and called me a goofball . Also, the prostaff working the Thorne Brothers booth were great. The guy that helped us out (I can’t remember his name) spent about an hour with us answering all of our questions and bs’ing about fishing. Didn’t push us into buying anything and was just a cool, down to earth fishing guy . I can’t wait for the open water so I can get out and play with the new toys!

    I got the 7′ medium/moderate for casting smaller cranks, paired with the curado e50, it is one heck of a light set up.
