US Reel and Quantum Smoke Baitcaster

I remember a post from last year where someone was asking about the US Reels. I wonder if anyone had tried one and can share their thoughts.

I’d also like to know if anyone has tried the Quantum Smoke yet and can share their thoughts.

Don’t let any of those guys in the cat forum know, especially Brian. They think I am fooling when I talk about fishing for bass.

I have the smoke on its way and cant wait to get a feel on it. I own all quantums and they all perform flawlessly so i expect nothing different from the smoke.

Thanks for the US reel report. It would take a pretty good review to pry me from Quantum. Cripes, I still have a Quantum Iron.

Let me know your impressions of the smoke when you get it. I probably will be getting one either way, unless you are disappointed with it some how.

should be coming this week but it wont get time on the water until march for me. Ill let u know tho

Can’t speak for the Smoke but a bunch of guys here in ny have switched to US reels with no regrets. I have not had a baitcaster to use yet but hear very good things. I own 3 of the US reels spinning reels, 230SX, and find them great to use. I do know that us reels have some sales at fishing shows with great deals.
I myself am looking at the new lews baitcasters… nice. good luck.
