    the smallmouth action has been hot around the elk river areas, when sunny i have been finding them to be about 30 ft from shore is slack water, when cloudy i have been hitting them in direct current, been out the last 4 days and lost count of how many fish i was catching each day. changing up approaches is key but when you find what there hittin on they sure are hittin

    Love those smallies. They just do not quit. Did not know they had started cranking already.
