Bass Opener – This weekend

Anyone have any ideas as to what the Green Carp will be doing in the Twin Cities area.

Caught quite a few of them, last weekend, in the pads, while looking for pannies.

I was in the Grand Rapids area last weekend….

Hope to find out on Sat, Sun, and Mon. Going to be Pre-fishing Clearwater lake for a tourney the following weekend. I’m going to come rigged for everything from Bed fishing to Deep water dropshotting. I have no idea of what stage the fish will be at. My gut tells me mostly post spawn but I’m sure there will still be some bedding fish and maybe even a few pre-spawn fish. it sure is going to be a different opener

I’m in Central Minnesota and I expect the spawn will pretty much be history by the weekend with the spawn taking place the previous few days.

I think the fish will be shallow for the most part and I’m sure some will be biting, but I don’t expect the fishing to be anything close to phenominal.

Docks could be very good down in the Cities as well as up here.
