Pool 3 largemouth bass ideas?

    Howdy! Any ideas for largemouth on Pool 3 or lower St. Croix for this weekend (Oct. 3-4)? We caught a few smallies including one 19″ beast on the main river channel last weekend but no largemouth in the side channel or the opening of the backwaters. We did not get all the way back into the far reaches of the sloughs…I’m curious to see how the cooling trend impacts the shad and bass location.

    Large mouths in that area? I’m sure there are some pockets but all I have found is smallies. Seems to me LM’s would be a hard target there.
