I have had a great year fishing for LM but this year it seems like there are less posts of people having success or they are having a great year but are just not posting What are your thoughts??

I’ve been having a good year but like you said some guys dont want to give up the hot bite. I fish tournaments and I’m reluctant to say whats hot and whats not. I was thinking the same thing that it was slow but its not. I would love see a bunch of bass posts with baits and techniques used . If anybody wants to swap info feel free to PM me . Dan

I’m having a good summer, same as most years. I haven’t been reporting it as much since I really don’t have anything new to say. The same things are working in the same places as last year. Size seems to be off a little. So far this year I’ve caught four fish over 20 inches but nothing really big.

September is around the corner and I always do better then.

My year has been kind of like a roller coaster ride. Go out to fish to find new stuff, have a time with dad or friends, pre fishing for a tournament, dont seem to catch a whole lot. Once tournament day rolls around, stuff hits the fan and I catch a TON of fish. Makes my head spin sometimes. I just havent found a solid, consistent bite. Hopefully it doesnt go south

Fishing has been very different this year for me.

Have a new 8 month old – so I don’t get out as much (or as long)

the cooler summer has taught me a few new tricks.

overall, good numbers but not as many BIG TOADS this year. That will change as soon as the frog bite starts.
