My buddy and i got out on monday at about 9:30 am to fish for bass on my favorite lake I brought 3 rods rigged w/ a jig, t-rig, and tube or jig worm to try different presentations, but i never put down the rod that was rigged texas style Long story short, we ended up fishing for 5 hours and caught about 20 bass and 1 pike that went 27″ 10 of the bass went over 19″ and 2 went over 20″. Now here is the weirdest thing i have ever seen. I went fishing about a week earlier and was using a 6″ salamander on a 1/4 oz weighted hook. I had a pike snap me off and i thought that was the last time i would ever see that bait again. Lo and behold, i set the hook on a solid 18″ bass and as i was reeling it up, i noticed that there was something with it The bass had picked up the lizard and digested it but the hook was still attached on the inside of its colon The lizard was dangling on the outside of the fish but thankfully i was able to remove the hook without any trouble, just a slow backwards removal. I hope this fish lives and will some day grow but has anyone seen this before
Overall, the best day of fishing i have had so far

Nice fish, that had to be a great day on the water

Never seen a bait make it through the system like that before but the pictures sure made me pucker a bit

I caught one the other day that was almost the same way. it had a senko and hook down deep. But it also had about 1.5 foot of line comming out its back end. My fish was not even close to as big as that one though,

    Nice fish
