On Friday, I am going to let some kids in the MN Bass Federation use my boat, as I sit as an observer.

I am curious as to what you think they should be throwing / doing on Lake Waconia. High sky, water temps at 80 and not much wind.

    Let’s hear it.

Will let you know on Friday night.

Some of the bigger humps out in the lake are covered with milfoil. Under the milfoil is a nice gravel bottom. Pitch jigs and hang on (Besides the Bass there are Muskies, Pike, and big Sheephead on those humps). Use a heavy jig to punch through the weeds, let it hit the bottom and then shake it a few times. That worked really well the last time I was out there.

Fish were in the gravel , next to the milfoil in the AM. Once the sun came up high, in the foil.

Jigs, tubes and worms all took nice fish.

My two young men were very good fisherman.
