I took some time on tuesday night to take a foreign exchange student out fishing for his first time ever in the USA. He is due to leave minnesota on friday june 12th and head back home to Brazil. I brought him out to one of my favorite lakes with lots of big bass in it in hopes for him to catch a big one. Gabriel was not able to boat a fish although he did have a couple on for a breif second or so. Dakota, my 10 year old son did however hook into a dandy and which by any ones standards was a big fish. She weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces according to the x-tools scale which I have found to be vary reliable. Congratulations to him on a lunker of a lifetime and many more to come.
