Im just wondering if we have any ido’ers living near Fort Madison, Iowa? Where the bassmaster elite series will be held this weekend. Wondering if anybody is going to attend or is seeing all there nice boats down on pools 17, 18, 19, 20 & 21. Im sure they have been there the last few days pre-fishing.

I was thru Fort Madison last Friday and saw several nice rides in parking lots of motels. The Quad Cities area just hosted another Bass tourney a week ago.

Yeah, they had the BFL All American out of the QuadCities. Those guys were able to fish all the way up to pool 13. By the time they locked all the way up they only had 1:45min to fish. It was crazy, seeing some of those guys running the FLW boats all over.

Yeah I have read some things about them complaining about the river. Its nice to see them fish the real world where they are not going to pull 20 lbs a day.

I was out on Pool 14 a couple of the days of the BFL tourney. There was a steady stream of wrapped rigs running up the river each morning around 8 or 8:30, lasting about 20 minutes, then the same stream a little more spread out going back downriver around 1 p.m. Locking through 6 times in a day has really got to cut into the fishin’ time, but I guess pool 13 really is that good! I did not hear if the top teams where fishing up there though.

I know the winner fished pool 13. I was out a couple of those days and there were about 10 boats that locked to 13
