I know I’ve seen this come up before but could not find the post. Are they doing the Wed. night 2 fish events again this year?

    Thanks,

I just got off the phone with Daryl Loos who in the past years have un-officially organized it.
He said at this point there is nothing official, but if people show up and want to throw something together they certainly can.
I THINK the start time has been 6pm-8:30sih or dark.

Thanks. I had a neighbor asking about it. I have always had conflicts (trap league, archery, kids baseball…) so I have not fished these in the past.

There are no plans to do it this year on lake winona. The plan is to have the same thing starting next week thursday(5-11) on the river. It seems that being on lake winona people lose intrest rather fast. So maybe on the river it will last longer. That is what I was told on monday. I’m sure when the details are worked out more will be posted.

Thanks Bassmaster, I’ll watch for those details.

By the way, I am not sure who/which agency is in charge of enforcing the no wake on Lake Winona but there are a LOT of guys out there who do not obey this rule. I have also seen some of the local CO’s watching the lake from their vehicles around the lake but have not seen any action taken.

I think the sign at the ramp states a 10 mph limit but also that the lake is No Wake. I know I would put out a wake in my boat at 10 mph.

I do get out there, i have seen the signs and yes it is confusing. 10mph does put our a wake…Larger than one when up on plane.

The thursday outing will start this thursday (11th). Take off will be from St. Charles st. landing and will go from
6-8:30 or so. $10 per boat dosen’t matter how many fish from one boat. I think it will still be a two fish limit but that could change if enough people want it to change. Future outings maybe in pool 5a if anglers would like to mix it up.
